Field notes from the deepest dungeons in gaming.

Long-form RPG breakdowns, indie discoveries and no-nonsense hardware reviews, hand-stitched together by a small crew of Australian players who actually finish the games.

Who stitches this together

Craft over clicks, always.

We started in a Reservoir Street terrace in 2016 because Australian gaming coverage was drowning in press-release rewrites. Every article here is written after we finish the game — no early-access hot takes, no scores handed out before the credits roll.

Our four-person crew logs playtime honestly, publishes correction notes, and treats each guide like a piece of leatherwork: measured twice, stitched once, and built to outlast the launch-week hype.

How we work

Every verdict is earned.

Hardware gets tested for at least two weeks on our own rigs before a single word is published. Games are reviewed on the platform most Aussies will actually play them on, latency and download caps included.

We buy most of what we cover ourselves, disclose the rest, and never take a cent to change a score. If a patch changes things, we go back and update the piece.
